Download the New Content Pak!
Boy what a difference this makes. This file pack installs a MUCH better alias file that has a whole bunch of scroll macros, and there are HTML help files for almost everything, including each macro. Some cool new macros too, check out the On Screen Display function...
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Have to agree, its a nice upgrade. Only thing is I can't figure out the accelerated scroll. I always get an error with that. I assume I have to defone something, but tbh, the software is still rather scary to me.
Still, lots of learning:-)

RE: Download the New Content Pak!
Hmmm will have to check mine and see if I get an error...
I've been using the sideways wiggle scroll, easy to use, but a little too sensitive, I'm going into scroll mode accidentally. I think I'll edit it to need the wiggles to be faster...to reduce the accidental. Otherwise, very handy.

I am using the button scroll, and I find that really good, perfect speed for reading forums, and I also use it within the Spore creature creator to resize body parts, Its a bit on the fast side for that but definately usable.

I have to say I'm a wiggle scroll fanboy. It has a very Apple-ish feel to it, and there's no button presses involved. It takes a little time to activate but the easiness factor earns it a spot on my desktop profile.

You do need the newer Configurator for some of the functions in the content pack to work I noticed.
- On Screen Display
- Fragedal Virtual Buttons (3 per config)
- Add macro button to add new macros to macro index file
- a few functions revised, and older macros may not work...
- typetext, etc
That might be why you got an error with the Accel Scroll...

RE: Download the New Content Pak!
I'm using the wiggle scroll that has the same acceleration behavior as the accel scroll. I'm working on a 67 page ODT document with 24" long pages (gonna convert to HTML) and the acceleration IS SAVING MY SANITY.
I can go end to end in the document with a few movements, and still scroll very slowly when reading and editing. i think it must be as fast as the Logitech mechanical scroll wheel, that thing moves too.
BTW, I love ODT (the Open Office document editor "Writer") and won't be going back to Word anytime soon.
Ironically, it has excellent support for export to .pdf which Word lost with Office 2007.
And the price is right!
